On a bright-sky Sunday of August 2019, TNHCH drove from a smoggy & noisy Paris to the countryside of Hauts-de-France for a week long residency. It took place in Lizières, a multidisciplinary art center founded by Ramuntcho Matta in 2009 and located in the renovated Château d'Épaux domain.

This album was all imagined, composed, live recorded, sliced, re assembled & autotuned during this few days away from the city's rumor. We were bewitched by Rene Ricard's fluid poetry, trying to find space between each of his words to express our sonic energies. Helped by the marvelous Pierre Blaise (Lizières' sound engineer in chief), we started to put those holy texts into music, doing our best to revive its punkish fury, its erotical potency.

The result fits in those eight songs and six interludes entitled "ULTRA", our first long length record since 2017's "Retrospective My Eye". A sincerely deep tribute to Rene Ricard's haunted & sensual literature.

All the vinyl's sleeves were created by 30 artists whose work we really love, inviting each of them to do a series of ten artworks. Which ended to three hundred copies witnessing a strong graphic universe that shows how much our music is aimed to keep the link with this tremendous artistic scene.

We hope this record will stuck in your brain all days all nights, and also hope that will would play some of it to you in a brighter future. ULTRA LOVE
